San Clemente Pier Family Portraits

We love San Clemente Pier family portraits, especially with this family. Jenn is such a beautiful lady we think she’s super woman. We’ve photographed their family portraits every year since we relocated to southern California in 2010 and they are always just too cute! We’ve hopped around southern Orange County from Laguna Beach to San Juan Capistrano. And we made it back to my latest favorite spot: The San Clemente Pier. Jenn and her kids are always fun to photograph we always have a great time laughing, giggling, and just having a blast taking photos.

San Clemente pier family portraits are the perfect way to capture the love between a family. The year round average temperature of 72 degrees Fahrenheit make idea weather and if you add in the cool ocean breeze infused with the salt mist in the air and it is heaven.

Family Photography With Options

San Clemente Pier family portraits are perfect because the location allows so many different looks. As a photographer shooting portraits at the San Clemente the options are seemingly endless! It doesn’t matter where you go at the pier because the lighting is almost always perfect in every location. When the sun starts going down at the San Clemente Pier the magic begins and amazing moments begin to bubble up.

The marine layer started to roll into the beach in the evening, but there was still a hint of warm light breaking through the underside of the pier. There were some adorable shots of Jenn and the kids playing on the beach, and there was definitely A LOT of laughing going on!

These kids are very familiar with having Marvin behind the camera by now and they are super easy to work with. There was not a single photo of these two not smiling! Talk about making a family photographer’s life easy!
Fun Photo Shoot at the San Clemente Pier

Marvin recreated this shot from 2 years ago where the little mister was kissing his sister on the cheek. Too much sweetness! While the weather surely was cooperative it was really exciting to have these to recreate the magical shot just a year before.

Kids Want to Have Fun Too

Austin and Bri are our favorite kids. They laugh, have fun, and totally follow all of my suggestions, even the silly ones. I am so honored to see these two kids grow up before my eyes and see them become the amazing little people they are becoming.
