This family was sincerely a joy to work with! We had a rough June here in southern California. The marine layer enveloped the coast and refused to budge for most of the month. Man, I sound spoiled, don’t I? But it made for some gloomy summer weather for vacationers. But luck was on our side this summer evening as the fog rolled over the ocean just far enough to allow Marvin to capture this family in a little bit of sunshine peaking out from that gray clingy cloud.
The Rockett family (how cool is that last name?!) hails from New Mexico, and after not having a family portrait taken since these teenagers were very young, we were delighted they chose us to photograph them! Marvin even caught them being splashed by a rogue wave at the very end of their photo shoot. We hope we helped them create lasting memories!
