Laguna Cliff Marriott Dana Point Wedding

This beautiful couple was married at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Dana Point, California. It’s one of our favorite wedding venues in south Orange County because of its amazing ocean view. The property runs along the top of the cliffs of Dana Point and overlooks the Dana Point Harbor the perfect locale for a proper Dana Point wedding.

Lantern Bay Park

Lantern Bay Park runs adjacent to the Laguna Cliffs Marriott hotel. The whole property is inhabited by towering pine trees that make a wistful backdrop for bridal portraits. This beautiful August day was perfect for catching gorgeous images of the ceremony and reception! Even a few of the hotel guests watched the nuptials from their ocean view balconies.

Marvin captured tons of images that we wanted to put here. We have shots of the couple getting ready, family members being silly, tons of details, and lots candid photos.  Their wedding day was amazing from start to finish. It’s one of the greatest honors as a wedding photographer to be able to document such a momentous and intimate occasion.

The First Kiss

From the first kiss and dance as husband and wife to the ensuing celebration, I love every moment of it! I always look forward to the initial viewing of the images from each wedding Marvin shoots. I’ll admit that I may be a little odd and sometimes I’ll “oooo”, “ahhhh”, and occasionally laugh out loud when taking my first look at the photos. It’s a good thing I don’t share an office with anyone! My laughter may cause a scene.

Rogan & Emily are from the UK and fell in love with Dana Point. They chose to start their lives together here as they made their marriage vows to each other and recently made the move from the UK to our lovely coastal town!

We welcome them as Dana Point residents and wish them luck with the expected arrival of their first baby later this year! Congratulations!
