Newport Beach Wedding Photography
This bride and groom were so fun to work with! We could literally have hung out with them forever when we met to discuss their big day the week before. They had a relaxed vibe about them and were excited to enjoy their wedding day. Savannah and Taylor wanted to kind of go with the flow and have fun with each other and with the people they love on their big day. We knew from the start that we would love shooting their Newport Beach wedding!
The ceremony was held behind closed doors at the LDS Newport Beach Temple so we started with their exit from the building (as is the norm with LDS temple weddings) and the cheers of family members and friends welcoming them into their new life together. As LDS photographers, we try to capture those special congratulatory moments on the temple grounds following the ceremony.
After family and bridal party shots, Marvin snuck the bride and groom away to the beach at Corona Del Mar for some gorgeous bridal couple portraits. I love the detail he got even shooting in the midday light. The cliffs on the southern California coastline provide the perfect backdrop for portraits of all kinds, but they especially lend a certain romance to bridal portraits. And those sweet moments of Taylor and Savannah walking across the rocks and stepping into the water are completely adorable.
The reception was a blast. There were so many beautiful and simple details that made the ambiance truly lovely. From the sweet cake to the breathtaking foliage and earthy decor – it was just gorgeous. Their exit completed the magical evening when the couple’s family and friends gave them a sparkler send-off into their future together! We wish these two eternal love and happiness!
