Traditional Orange County Family Portraits
by Kimble Photography
Creating traditional Orange County family portraits isn’t always easy [read our guide for help]. The colors, clothes, and even scheduling can be a challenge with little ones. Fortunately, we have years of experience in scouting locations, recommending wardrobe, and working with families of all kinds and sizes!
Our Tradition With family
We have been fortunate to work with families as they grow. We love watching a family grow with each passing year. Family portraits are historical from that perspective. There is no feeling that compares to being trusted to preserve those precious and wonderful memories and catalogue the inception and growth of a family.
We have been photographing this family for quite a few years now. They are always such fun to work with and it’s a blast to see the family change year after year. We did a spring family portrait session with this family in the same location a few years back so it’s fun to see them in the same spot and looking so grown up! We love the joy they bring every time we get together for a session. There are lots of wiggles and giggles and tons of smiles which makes it super easy to photograph them.
Winter Time in San Juan Capistrano
This photo spot in San Juan Capistrano never fails to impress. The color combinations of the foliage and grasses are different with each visit. The green leaves on the trees and the yellow grass definitely describes our southern California winter — it’s a little chilly, but still gorgeous! Marvin snapped these traditional Orange County family portraits between rain showers on a late winter afternoon. The winter gives the surroundings a darker and natural tone for a back drop which helps the family stand out from their surroundings.
Winter Family Pictures
Marvin snapped these traditional Orange County family portraits between rain showers on a late winter afternoon. The winter gives the surroundings a more dark and natural array for a back drop which helps the family stand out from their surroundings. The cloud cover this time of year usually gives images a cooler tone, but I loved how these images were warm and cozy. The golds and yellows really came through in the photographs.
